So here’s an update: we’re adding a run/ride to the Greasebag this year. Fucking awesome, I know.

Currently I have two options open, both revolve around a ride up to Vermont. My pal Matt has graciously offered up the use of 5 acres of land he has up in VT - it’s about a 3 hour drive from the show, and he says ” the roads around the farm are the best non coastal roads I’ve seen - it is literally a dream ride around those parts - fuck, I have a waterfall in my backyard”. This sounds utterly amazing to me. Solid length ride up some killer roads and then food, booze and stupidity once we arrive. Word.

So options…
A) We can leave Saturday evening, sometime between 5-6pm, get up to VT and rock, crash for the night, hang out the next day, then leave when you need to or potentially camp out again.

B) Leave early Sunday morning. This is assuming we get clearance for camping on the show grounds. Wayne (from Acme Choppers) is currently looking into this to make sure it’s legal and we’re not going to get fucked by the bike week Gestapo.

Regardless, I’m kind of leaning towards option A, but I figured I’d throw out both options to dudes who are considering making this event. Feel free to chime in regarding your preference.

I’ll have my van running chase with tools, petrol, and maybe the space to haul 1 bike should the need arise. Hopefully I’ll have someone to drive it too. Worst case, I’ll drive the fucker make sure we’ve got a bit of a safety net on the ride up.

So that’s what I’ve got so far concerning the ride. Again, feel free to chime in with ideas and what not. If anyone wants to help out in any way, feel free to offer your services - it’s always appreciated. The biggest thing I need help with is getting the word out and passing out flyers (which are almost done).
